Strength:

I'm very happy with the selection of high end bikes they stock or can access. Customer services is always friendly and they do what I want the first time in a timely manner. No complaints about prices either. I know ahead of time what something will cost and never got any nasty surprises when it was time to pick something up. I plan to buy my next bike there. I'm doing a shop ride with them tomorrow morning.

Weakness:

No weaknesses I can point to.

Great Bike shop, a lot of inventory and a lot of knowledge.Everyone working there really knows their stuff.Although they dont really carry DH bikes i still love walking in there and looking for any new bikes on the racks. The amount of bikes they stock is pretty rediculous.Overall a great place to shop with friendly employees that are always looking to help and solve your problems.

Customer Service

Really great, sometmies they are supper busy and each employee is workign with like 4 diffrent people but they do thier best to get to you and get you what you want. The mechanics are friendly and will test ride your bike or tear the whole thing apart till they find the problem.

Great shop, carries all kinds of High end bikes, components, clothing etc. Great variety of items to choose from. Bikes they carry are Trek, Cannondale, Scott and Gary Fischer.

Customer Service

I have been going into this store on and off for about 2 years and I have never had a problem with the service. I am not the kind of person who expects everyone to treat me special, but I have always been able to get the help I needed in a professional way. I think the staff is very educated in bike knowledge and if they don't know the answer they tell me and try to get the best answer for what I am looking for. I started going into this store cuz 2 years ago I moved to fairfield and it was convenient, I use to go to campmour before that is where I bought my first bike. (Kona). I had been a big believer that Kona was the only bike that could handle my size until I started talking to Mike and Eric about the new Remedy that Trek was coming out with and I was looking for a second bike anyway. I bought the remedy, got it May 1st, I love the bike, I haven't been on my Kona since. I guess what I am trying to say is that I bought this bike just on the word of the people who work at cycle craft, without ever seeing the bike in person because this was March and the remdy's werent coming out until end of April or beginning of May.

Mike and Eric do a great job explaining how everything works to me for the type of riding I like to do. Mike the mechanic is excellent at what he does, he has been fixing my Kona for the last 2 years and he hasn't had to fix the remedy yet cuz it is only a month old , but when it needs it I know Mike or another mechanic will do a great job with it. I haven't been to a whole bunch of bike shops, but I think Cycle Craft in Parsippany is worth checking out for any of your biking needs. Believe me I was hesitant to bring my kona their the first time cuz I knew they didn't sell kona's and i wasn't sure if they would work on it, but they did with no problem, many times and now I bought a trek from them and I am very happy with the bike, the store, service. Keep up the good work cycle craft!

The Cycle Craft is the best store to shop at for the various ranges of bikes and for serious pro bikers. They sell sturdy bikes and have a wide range from lower-end for entry level bike riders to high-end for advanced bike riders. They sell Scott, Trek, Cannondale, Gary Fisher, etc. They are knowledgeable and very patient. You should come in knowing what type of riding you want to do and what price range you want. Then, the enthusiastic staff takes it from there including sizing you up and offering info. The store is big. They have a parking lot in which you can test the bike on an open space. Overall, they capture the essence of a true bike store. These people really do their jobs well and show that Cycle Craft is the bike store worth buying from. Cycle Craft is a store that will you give you a good bike for your money's worth and give you knowledge you may have never known. You should definetly pay a visit to their Parsippany Store on Rt.46.

Customer Service

One word. Amazing. I walked into the store and had no clue where to go. The service department guy showed me where the bikes were and introduced me to some entry-level bikes. He flagged down a salesman. This shows how much they care about their customers. The staff is knowledgeable and patient. They know their facts about each brand, and they have experience in the different biking environments (rec, trails, bmx).

The salesman showed me that you should switch gears before speed, something I never knew. Shows knowledge. Go to Cycle Craft!

My husband and I have been shopping for a new bike. We have visited some of the local bike shops and found Cycle Craft far superior in inventory and customer service. Brendan ran a seminar from Trek called Woman on Wheels, which I attended. I learned how to change a bike tire and also got many pointers and helpful tips. I would highly recommend this bike shop to anyone looking for a bike. Not only is there a large selection of bike, but they also have a nice selection of accessories.

Customer Service

We found the staff at Cycle Craft to be very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. They took the time to explain the differences in the bikes and didn't try to push us into any decision. Cathy was especially helpful to me since I am a newbie and it was nice to get a woman to woman perspective. We have been to the shop several times and have been helped by different people and can honestly say that everyone was very helpful and anxious to assist us in any way they could.

Welcome back Brad!!! I was glad to see that Brad Battista has joined CC Long Valley crew – you might remember him from the CC Chester store. Brad is a top notch wrench and great guy – he built me a set of CX/winter training wheels 6+ years ago that are still running true many miles and potholes later.

Customer Service

Second to none. Road, cross country, downhill, single speed, ... Jeff and Brad will keep you rolling with a smile on your face.

they suck. They sold me a bike that wasn't even put toghether the right way. I will admitthat some of the staff is friendly but most of the staff are all jerks.

Customer Service

horrible. They dont care about their customers. the only good thing about this store is that they have a few bikes for each type of riding.

I use the Cylecraft Long Valley shop because it's closer than Parsippany although smaller but as my mother once told me the best things come in small packages.
The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I trust them completely with all my maintenance and upgrades and I have improved my cycling skills tremendously through my participation in their weekend rides and the wealth of advice I have received from their staff.
Store location notwithstanding, Cyclecraft runs a very customer focussed business. They stand by their price guaranty and their workmanship. They work hard to find you whatever you need in terms of parts and equipment.
I have bought several bikes from them over the past few years and have been very impressed at how hard they worked to find the bike that was right for me rather than just try to sell me something in stock.
Clearly at Cyclecraft the customer comes first: that is a very rare quality these days and one that should be applauded and supported.

Customer Service

The best - they go above and beyond any reasonable expectations.

I saw a few other reviews that I found curious:
To the person that was dismayed about the waiting time for repairs in the summer (doh) I would ask whether he/she ever gets "walk-in, on demand " service for car maintenance - I suspect not so get real and plan ahead.

For the person who complained about the results of a small adjustment to their bike: if it was that small you should have fixed it yourself. Assuming you didn't because you don't know what you are doing then shame on you and heaven help you if you have the need for a "small adjustment" when you are out there alone on a real ride (and you will - trust me you will). Anyway, why didn't you just take it back if you weren't happy - who knows you might have learned something.

I been coming to this shop for over 20 years and feel I can safely say I know my way around there. Large store easy to find packed with anything you can possibly need. Brendan is right in that there have been many changes over the years, and that has made them only better. The current group is as strong as they ever been. From bike Professional fittings to perhaps the best wheel builder in the state and then some. If they can't get it it doesn't exist.

Customer Service

Nobody at these location doesn't give service with a smile, what more can I say.

Big shop, large selection. Will have pretty much anything you need or order it for you in a heartbeat if they don't have it in stock. Large range of sizes on bikes and clothing. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Customer Service

They are pretty good on the customer service, it all depends on who you talk to. Some of them are a little high strung and don't want to talk to people that aren't interested in spending a lot of money, but if you talk to the right people you will never have a problem. I always deal with Eric or Mike when they are around, there are a couple other people in there that are very good at what they do as well.
