I dropped my bike off for the 69.99 service and I think it was in worse condition when I got it back! Just as dirty if not dirtier, flat spot on the rear tire from skidding ( I know I didn't do it) and the seat post misadjusted. I recommend that you NOT use Halters Cyclery.? Jason and his staff spend time not only to educate the you and not just try to sell you parts upgrades. They love the sport. Customer Service Give a little back ground on myself. Been self employed for 5 years now. Not easy, a lot of hard work.
Similar Products Used: Bottom line is this, customer service at Halter’s and Jay is IMO top Notch. Now he has a customer for life. |

This is a very nice shop with a sizable selection of bikes, tools and supplies. I took my bike their for a tune-up and to correct a shifiting problem. They did a great job and didnt try to push an unnecessary work/repairs. Customer Service A-1 customer service. I traded some emails with them and received a response very promptly. They were very curteous and professional. Similar Products Used: I am looking forward to returning to this shop. |

I am a bike store snob. I want knowledgable staff who are not afraid of riding (and riders), parts on hand for speedy, yet reliable repairs and good prices. All that and I don't want the staff to be snobs. (I know, that's unfair after my opening statement, but its true) This shop is the best I have found. Customer Service The customer service is fantastic. The staff has repeatedly gone "above and beyond". Once it was to locate an obscure bolt for one of our bikes, another time it was to fix a bike "right then" because they knew it would be our last chance to ride for awhile. They are always happy to suggest a new ride in the area, and, having watched them sell bikes, they always make a point to find the right bike for the rider's needs. Similar Products Used: This is a local store well worth supporting. As a bonus, the staff spends much of its free time working on trails in the area. What more could you want? Its a great store. |

I am new to Mountain Biking and was referred Halter's cycle shop from a friend. I found the people that work there extremely knowledgeable, honest and have a true passion for what they do. They are all experienced bikers with deep knowledge. They were very patient and attentive to my needs and realized the value in creating a good customer relationship. I have been back to the shop on a weekly basis and really enjoy the advice and new gadgets to support my hobby. I would recommend this shop to any level road or mountain biker. They also have kid's bikes. Customer Service Excellent skills and a pleasure to deal with |

I visited the shop a few weeks ago to pick up a few things and to use a gift certificate. I thought the shop was excellent. Good selection of bikes and gear, decent prices (I picked up a CF seatpost which was a good deal even if I didn't use my gift certificate), and a knowledgeable staff. They stocked a wide range of Haros, Giants, and Cannondales. Typical fare, however, I was informed they were getting the Haro & C'dale 29ers soon, so that earns big points. 29er knowledge is always refreshing from a shop being that it is so rare. Selection and staff helpful for all riding abilities and interests. Plus, my one year old daughter had fun running around the place. Customer Service Very good. The staff was very knowledgable and passionate about riding. It wasn't just a bunch of kids working there on summer break, all bummed out. They were ligit bike people. Similar Products Used: Overall, very good. I'll definitely be returning there to spend actual money, not just gift certificates. It's funny because I've passed the place a million times and never went in, fearing they would suck (for an avid rider like myself) like a lot of other shops. However, I was pleasently surprised and I'm glad I went in. |
