The East LM location "had trouble finding the slip (to my wife's bicycle" that was sitting there to be tuned up for 2 weeks....good place for telemark skis and boots. Older sales dude is very knowlegdable on telemark gear. |

may as well be a specialize flagship store. Customer Service If you don't look rich you won't get any help. They are a bunch of stuck up bike snobs. I don't have a lot of choices in my area but I'll go anywhere but comp edge. |

This review is for the Hadley, MA location.
Customer Service The service is excellent. They are easy to deal with, helpful, knowledgeable, and mostly friendly. Similar Products Used: Other than the lack of brand selection, this is a great store and the people are good to deal with. |

This is one of the largest shops in the area. Full range of road ,bmx and mtbikes. The floor is dominated by cannondale and specialized. Customer Service I've never gotten better service from a shop. On two different occasions they have been willing to pirate parts off of floor models in order for me to not have to wait. I had problems with a weak chain on a new bike, they upgraded for me with no upcharge. They probably have the best tech.s in the area as well. Being a bigger shop probably gives them an edge with buying power/keeping competitive prices too. |

n/a Customer Service extremely disappointing Similar Products Used: My son and I had been mountain biking more & more and it was time to upgrade from his Kawasaki dualie. My wife took his bike there for a tune up, at which point the bike was deemed unfit to ride (odd as he had been riding it just days prior...). regardless, the recommendation of the sales person was to toss out the bike. The pedal assembly was loose, and needed tightening, and perhaps some parts. I went to the shop myself a few hours later and asked for the bike. The sales person informed me that the bike had been destroyed. After discussion, it turns out it he had put it in the dumpster. I asked him again for the bike, and he said "get it yourself". Needless to say the whole interaction with this shop was extremely disappointing. To this day, I have no idea where the bike is. |

I use east longmeadow location, been cycling for about 15 years, both road and mtb. I am pretty demanding and always looking for a deal. These guys are good and have always provided an overall good experience. Their pricing is excellent and knowledge is very good. They are a good bunch of guys and offer some great mtb rides. I lived in Boston for several years and have dealt with many shops in east and west mass (Landry's, International, BackBay Cycles, Ski-in, etc). Competitive edge is the only shop I would recommend to a friend.
