Mostly XC bikes, with a good mix of middle to high end bikes. Also great selection of parts and accessories. Probably the niciest LBS in the Baltimore area for XC and roadies. They also have a number of used bikes for sale and for return bike purchases you are guaranteed a 40% return on your original purchase.

Customer Service

Excellent, these people are awesome. Not only do they great you as you enter the establishment but are extremely knowledgable about all things bike. Its apparent people who work here live the biking lifestyle as well. The service department has the ability to do anything. They will push you to purchase things you might not nessesarily need that could be well out of a normal riders price range...ie. Chris King, very nice products but probably not required for 75% of users.

Nothing in this store is cheap. They rarely seem to be sales on normal products. If you need regular maintnance items your probably better off getting what you need online or at the local discount store.

Large shop with lots of stock! Many bikes on the floor and alot in stock. Can find many parts you are looking for in stock also. Also a seperate Female section.

Customer Service

TOP NOTCH! Everyone that works in the Ellicott City location is always willing to go out of their way to Help with a purchase or even just chat about the experiences. If you need a bike tuned/lubed/built or anything related the mechanics at the shop are the ones to do the job! The Care about making the customer happy and completing the job correct the 1st time!

The willingness to even help a customer that purchased a bike elsewhere blows me away! Most other shops would turn their heads.

Unpleasant to visit due to sales pressure and manipulation. If you know what you are doing, you might be ok, but even if you do, they will try and convince you they know better, and try to get you to spend more. Trying to buy parts from these guys is like going through the inquisition, even if you get past the obstructionist behavior its cheaper elsewhere. They act like bike selection or repair is rocket science and/or brain surgery and you know nothing. Basically, the bad reviews for the Columbia store strike me as being the true ones. One possible plus: they sometimes have some decent used bikes with decent prices outside. Hopefully inquiring about one of those would not result in a bait and switch.
