Fantastic. Pricing is really the best reason to go. I purchased a bike for $1500 less than I almost bought it for at Race Pace Fed Hill. I'm so glad my friend recommended I go and ask for Fred. Seriously people, $1500 BETTER! I didn't even negotiate. That was the price. Trek Fuel Ex 9, end of model year. I will always go here now because I am very loyal to somewhere that offers great value to someone who has already done their research. At both stores, race pace, and here, I already knew more about the bikes than the staff, but race pace really disappointed me when I found out how much this bike was offered for here. Thanks guys.

I even took my second bike there for a tune up without asking price because I figure it's going to be along time until I spend $1500 worth of additional parts and service.

Customer Service

Good enough for me. I already knew EVERYTHING you could know about the bike I wanted before stepping into any bike store.

Had them put a new compact crank on my road bike, within four miles of riding after getting back from the shop, my chain broke. I don't think it was a coincidence.

Customer Service

Both stores' employees were a bit rude

Large selection of OLD models, and numerous bikes with cosmetic damages, ie dents, scratches, etc. (still asking same price as new!) Service seems competent. Took my bike in for tune-up, got back quickly, although nearly $70.00 for tune-up seems a bit high. ONLY carry Trek bikes and products, no real selection. Well that is unless you want a TREK!. Have heard they have opened another shop in Bel Air, but not sure about that store, probably sells only Trek if the main store is any indication.

Customer Service

Fine, if you like Trek products. Knowledgeable of Trek products, but little if anything else. Not very willing to order anything they cannot get directly from Trek. Wanted a Ritchey WCS stem, but kept trying to sell me a Bontrager stem with 17 degree rise instead. I have a mountain bike, NOT a hybrid!

Great Shop!!!

Customer Service

Customer Service is the whole reason I love this shop! Prior to bringing my MTB to these guys for some maintenance, I was quite dissatisfied with the service at my old shop. The guys at The Bicycle Connection were knoweldgeable and took the time to help me get things the way I wanted them! They went above and beyond and even knew my name the second time I walked in there. Without a doubt, these guys have gained me as a loyal customer!

Most guys in this shop seem a bit unhealthy to be representing the hobby. Nice enough guys, but not sure I would trust their advice. I needed a mountain bike when I went in and the guy kept trying to sell me a Lime Cruiser. I also heard that the guy who runs the place was a bar tender before being a goto guy for the cycling community. Not the best background. The service manager is an ex fellon and got fired from 2 other shops for breaking the jaws of fellow employees. The owner gets a big tax break for hiring an ex fellon. He doesn't ride and has very poor health as well. This shop is very desparate for employees which leads me to believe they arn't top notch.

Customer Service

Good enough, anyone with a pulse can sell bicycle equipment though.

Slim selection of bikes. Mostly last year models, seems like they are trying too hard.

Fairly big selection. Two floors. Nothing special.

Customer Service

I've been in there a couple of times. Bought a helment for my girlfriend because it matched her bike. Some of the personel are nice. I was inquiring about one bike they sell there and the only reason why they're selling the bikes is because they got them cheap. I was looking for an all mountain bike so they had me look at xc bikes. It's a mess.

Just drive down the street toward the city and lutherville bike shop will be 10 minutes away on your right side. OR go to princeton sports.

Unless you want to be like everyone else and buy a trek.

Specializes in Trek and accesories

Customer Service

I bought my Trek 6000 there about 2 months ago and although I knew what I was looking for, the salesman didn't seem interested in helping much. My chain broke within 3 weeks and they didn't have any 9 speed chains. They put one on that was too small to get me out the door and ordered one from Trek. I called a week later to see if it was in and they told me it was in a day or 2 ago. No one called me. I wanted a Sram chain to keep as spare and they had none at all nor did they have any quick links. I find this unbelievable for a repair shop to not have these things. All other shops I went to have lifetime tuneups but not this place. The only reason I got a bike there is because I couldn't find it anywhere else.

- Large inventory (2 levels) and excellent product selection (from novice to expert)
- Good store hours compared to other local shops
- Experienced and knowledgeable sales staff and mechanics
- Good overall pricing/quality/value

Customer Service

This shop excels at customer service. I've been a long-time customer and I keep coming back because they really take care of you. Their pricing is reasonable (many shops mark up their bikes and products way too much), and they go out of their way to make sure you're happy. I recently bought a Trek all-mountain ride from them (great deal!) and messed it up on the very first ride (rode it way too hard on a technical trail). They knew what needed to be fixed and took care of the problem quickly so I could be back on the trail within a week. They even gave me a great deal on a new front wheel (I destroyed the original and they put on a new one worth $150 for only $40).
