Great shop, too bad I have to drive 40 miles from the local shop to find Great Service and Friendly People that are glad to see more than just your money. Similar Products Used: This is my go to shop |

Awesome place with a great selection of bikes and parts. These guys are passionate about bikes. Everyone who has helped me has always been very helpful and "real". I love to support local businesses and shops like Little Ade's are the reason why!

Excellent bike shop. They have a lot of bikes (and parts) right in stock and also sell Specialized, Kona, Haro, and Raleigh.
Customer Service I wanted to buy a new full suspension mtb, and decided to buy a Santa Cruz Blur. Santa Cruz bikes are not as fast and easy to get as Trek, Specialized, Giant, etc, but I really wanted a Santa Cruz for their excellent quality, design, reputation, and light weight very strong carbon fiber frames. I also needed to customize the bike with a higher rise stem, handle bar, and different seat. I went to a Santa Cruz dealer in the Chicago area where I live, and found out they do 99% of their business online, but really brag about their excellent personalized customer service. When I tried to get some personalized service, they pretty much ignored me, never responded to my email. I found out on mtbr that Little Ade's is a Santa Cruz dealer, so I took a drive down to Pekin and talked to the owner, Mike. He ordered the bike from Santa Cruz for me, and then found the right stem and handle bar online and also ordered them. He had the saddle I wanted right in stock. It took 4 weeks to get the bike from Santa Cruz, but as soon as it was delivered to Little Ade's, they did an excellent job putting it together with the custom parts, and gave me a call. Similar Products Used: Very friendly, knowledgable staff.

Hy husband and I were shopping for comfort bikes to ride on the sterrt and the trails. We shopped all three area bikes shops and then found Little Ades after doing a search on the internet. When we walked into the shop there were bikes hanging everywhere. It was a paradise of bikes. Customer Service Everyone who works there seems to love their job. The owner Mike, took us outside on the trail 10 minutes after arriving. He listened to out needs and what we wanted. Made suggestions and off we went. He really cared about us and wasn't pushy at all. We can not say enough about this shop. They were just over the top in terms of quality, price and service. Similar Products Used: We left the shop for an hour to go back to Peoria to look again and two other bikes to make sure we liked the ride of the bikes at Ades better.

Grew up going to Little Ade's. Haven't been there in a while, I now live in St Louis. But it sounds like it's the same shop with a lot of the same staff as it did when I used to frequent it 10 years ago. My parents still live in the area and I wish I could get my stuff together enough to get it serviced there. Customer Service Bought my first mountain bike, a GT Timberline FS, back in 1994 here. When I upgraded to a Avalanche in 98, I went to Little Ades. It was last years model. They tracked one down and I saved a ton of money. I rode that same bike last night. Although I haven't been there in a while, I miss this shop. Full of great guys with a great selection and great service. Similar Products Used: Long live Little Ade's! |

Excellent! Service with a smile on there faces and a look of pride with whatever they sell. Couldn't say enough about the way they run this place. Extremely knowledgeable! Customer Service My son is not your typical mountain bike rider... he rides a mountain unicycle. We ordered it from Little Ades instead of getting it online. Couldn't be happier that we did because not only did they assemble it (a task that we didn't want to take on ourselves) but they were so interested in my son's riding that they have fostered his love for unicycling in every way. The unicycle he purchased is made for the trails and takes a beating. The staff there is so friendly and know there stuff! This is the second unicycle that we have purchased from there and they keep our business coming back for more cause these guys are the greatest. |

You will not find a better bike shop around here. Friendly faces but not in your face like other local shops. Take your time, test ride some bikes, and shoot the crap with the locals, Little Ades is one of a kind and more like a shop out west rather than the midwest. Customer Service Superb |

One thing I would add , Is that the Little Ades guys, all have different riding styles. Some guys ride rigid single speed mountain bikes , some ride full suspension , and some ride Bmx style bikes. They also have a great selection of "roadies" as well . The bottom line is , no matter your riding style , they have a very knowledgeable staff.Though its been mentioned already , these guys love to ride,to me thats important because they are keeping up with all the current trends, and when an MTB nut comes in , they feel right at home there .They have a great selection of brands Kona,Specialized , etc,and also have all the gear you would need. Customer Service I wouldnt take my car to someone I dont know , and the same goes for LAs .When they say it will be ready it usually is,and guarantee all their work. Similar Products Used: Central Illinois has other bike shops , but Little Ades is more like the old school shops we grew up with .You can buy a bike at Dicks , but theres no guarantee the people know anything about the bike itself. And good luck asking them a bike geek question and not getting the "eyeball". |

Place is cool, FULL of bikes and gear. The service department is not out back, it's practically part of the showroom so you can talk to a tech if you need to while they're working on other bikes. I live over an hour away and stopped in on a fluke once and have been doing business there ever since.
Customer Service The service department is basically part of the showroom so home mech's feel pretty comfortable and welcome there. Plus, they know what they're doing. Since the service isn't behind a closed door out back, if you need some emergency advice on how to do something, you can ask'em without them having to stop working on the "other guys" bike. Kinda nice since nest time you might be the other guy, waiting on your bike. Similar Products Used: Friendly place, knowledgable without being pretentious. I hate goping to a shop and being talked down to, even if the guy knows 100 times more than me I don't need to be talked to like I'm in the way. For these, it's not about makeing the sale, it's about helping out people who show an interest in sharing their sport.

If you're in this area and looking for a bike or to upgrade, this is the place to do it. Deone and the guys take great care in setting up a bike for you, not just the "stand over and put your foot on the pedal" test most looser shops give you. I live over an hour away, stopped in on a fluke and have been going back ever since.
Customer Service These guys all ride often and know what they're doing. As I mentioned, the service area is not seperated from the showroom, making for a place where us racers and home mech's feel like we fit in. Similar Products Used: Call'em. If they don't have it they'll get it. And they'll back it. Sincerely, Best place in the area to do business. These guys ride better than most and know that sometimes the super bling, expensive stuff is for the accessory sluts, and they'll let you know how to do it better, cheaper. |
