I have been going to Hyde Park for several years and have had nothing but great experiences. They have changed their focus from racing to touring but they are still passionate about bikes and always accomodate my racing questions or needs.

Customer Service

Their customer service is top notch. They have always taken the time to show me what they did and guarantee their work.

I read the comments form the other reviewers and I have never seen used parts sold at Hyde Park so I don't think that is a fair review.

This is a a local bike shop that takes the time to know and understand their customers. They will never have the biggest selection, but it is always interesting and top notch. I am willing to trade supermarket selection for personalized service any day.

This shop is like a little hole in the wall, but they have stuff no other shop stocks, like 650b wheels and bikes. I like going because I never know what cool new stuff they will have. They are always nice to me, and they have always been fair.

Customer Service

Both of my bikes are from this shop. I have received good advice about the equipment I need for my type of riding and skill level. They seem to be experts on bike setup and fit. I enjoy riding more because of their help.

charged me a decent price for a used wheelset.. one month later i had to have a different bike shop relace them because whoever built the wheels used the wrong spokes, and i had to tighten them every week... 9 months later and the wheels are fine...

seems like a nice place but its amateur time when it comes to a decent routine repair that another shop had no problem doing...

This is the worst bike shop I've ever been to. I wanted to purchase a derailleur hanger and the shop owner Jim seemed ready to help. We looked through his bin and found one that i could use for the day to get me going. He waited until i got it on my bike to tell me it was going to be $26!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the most i've EVER seem a generic cast hanger for is $15, but usually around $10. I asked him if he thought that was a bit spendy and he acted super insulted and got very short with me. Again worst service ever, NEVER NEVER go to this shop. Drive another 5 minutes and go to Georges or Bikes to Boards.
