Well stocked bike shop with plenty of high and mid range bikes to choose from. Sales staff (adults) are very knowledgable and helpful. Fitting center that's really nice. Sweet bikes on the floor all the time. They do demo rides at Big Creek Park trail, and the last one really paid off for the both of us. Bought a new bike! Have really appreciated the couple of demos I've done with them over the years.

Customer Service

Talking with the sales staff is fine, but the service shop is another story. Unfortunately, the sales staff doesn't seem to be that much into the technical aspects of the bikes and will refer you to the service department. The service department has an overall air of snobbery and they don't seem to be that good at basic services (unless they just don't care because they're free life time adjustments). But the guys are very infomative and passionate about the sport. You could talk with them for an hour about bikes, they love the stuff.

I just bought a new Giant Anthem X3 from the shop and the sales guy was really nice and knowledgable. Set the bike up for me and I loved it! Came in for a chainring and came home with a new bike. They made sure it fit well and air suspension was set for my weight.
Only problem that I have is with the snobby service department. I've been riding bikes for years, built my own, ect, and the guy in the service dep is going to tell me that my wheels are true and I'm looking right at them spinning on my bike with a slight hop and a little side to side play. "Maybe you're looking at the tire..." NO I'm not an idiot and it's not the tires! Granted, these are low end shimano hubs machine laced to an entry level Mavic rim(that will be replaced soon), but I expected them to be straight after being trued and tensioned after ONE ride. This was on my 2nd visit to true these wheels, so I'll continue to take my wheels to REI for service. So much for free lifetime wheel truing. Will not drive 40min to be insulted again.
But the shop is still good overall.

I've had very good experiences at this shop. I bought my mountain bike there a couple of years ago and am going back soon to buy a road bike.

Customer Service

I've had wonderful experiences with customer service. Everyone there is super knowledgeable. You're likely to get helped by someone young, but don't underestimate their knowledge. the guys there have educated me everytime I've been in there. I read a review that said they think they sold them the wrong size bike, and I kinda feel my mountain bike was sold to me a little bit small, but at the same time my bike is great and does what it needs to do. It takes me an hour to get to this shop, but I do it because I really trust these guys. I've recently been perusing road bikes and they haven't tried to upsell me at all. I looked at a bike and the salesman strongly recommended one that was about $500 cheaper.

I wouldn't buy too many accessories here. They have good quality ones for things like pedals, shoes , and helmets, but they lack choices on the cheaper end of the spectrum

Lit like a cave and staffed by a bunch of teenagers with the social skills of neanderthals.

Customer Service

I was one of two customers in the shop, completely ignored by the kids, but immediately greeted by a little old man with a very strong New York accent. After about ninety seconds he admitted he knew nothing about bicycles and just sort of followed me around the shop. The kids, who may or may not have been knowledgeable about the bikes steadfastly ignored all customers.

This is a full service shop with a huge bicycle inventory (road, mountain, cruisers, comfort, etc.). It has bicycles and parts at all price levels, including a selection of used bikes for sale. It also has a full service repair shop.
The shop is very involved in the community.

Customer Service

Customer Service has been really good. They seem to have learned from reading the reviews here and are showing that they do care for the customers. They will ask if you need help, take their time to show you and talk to you about anything you ask for, including setting up and trying out different bikes. Their service shop personnel are also attentive to make sure you don't wait too long for interaction. If they can't fix your bike right then, they will give you a date for when it will be ready and they stick to it. They've even helped me out with warranty work with the manufacturers and given me updates as needed when things seemed to have been dragging by the manufacturer. They might not be as cheap as ordering online, but they do good work and they will back up what they sell or do.

As someone who lives in the area, I visit this shop every once in a while. I have a bike that I bought there. I have seen how this shop has made an effort to correct any bad perception about them. There are a lot of other bike shops in the area, so competition is tough, but Roswell Bikes is a standard of the community and they know they need to keep up the good work to keep their customers happy.

Where do I start? Prices are always at the suggestion manuf. costs which is the highest price that product can be charged at. Very rare to find sale on anything, bike seem to go on desent sales from time to time. I bought two bikes from them in a year and had mixed reviews. THr road bike was way to small. If I showed this to anyone they would be laughed out of town, but I took their advise and I hated the bike. Tried to get them to take it back, but they refused. That alone left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Also had a pair of wheels re-built by them. The cost and wait was over double what was quoted. It had nothing to do with parts or anything out of their control. The first excuse was honest, but still bad. The tech admitted he forgot to work on them. The second time he didn't have time. The third time I had to threaten him. Then he charged me double. I just grabbed the wheels and ran out with them. I should have spoken to a manger, but at that point I was just done with that shop.

In the end, the shop looks good and they carry good road bikes, but I would say go else where. Atlanta Cycling blew me away with their customer service and had a little lower costs on some gear.

Good place to buy bikes and nothing more. They will overcharge you (underlined many times) on services if they get a feeling that you're new into cycling. Most of the mechanics there are snobby, however knowledgeable they may be. They once charged me over $10 for a job that took no more than a minute just because they had to use a tool that was not even bike repair specific. Everytime I went there (which I don't anymore) I came out thinking DIY DIY DIY DIY DIY.

The shop has everything that a bicyclist would need. Its got a huge selection of new products. However, you are in a fast to be forgotten experience if you get your bike serviced out here. I took my bike for regular check up and the guys told me I had lot many things to take care off (read replacement). I got a second opinion and only 20% of what they were saying was true
Also the service department gives you an impression that they do not want your business and look at your bike reluctantly. I would suggest hook up with the bike shop at REI as they give better service

Customer Service

If you are to purchase a new product this bike shop is definitely one to check out. But forget about it after you are done with your purchase. I would not go back for service for sure. As far as products are concerned, i guess there are other stores out there.

Buying a mountain bike will sure require you to go back to a service department of a bike shop. Make sure that you check their service department and talk to a few individuals who have purchased from the store about their experiences.

Don't go here for service! They destroyed my brake and took over a year to get repaired. Management is clueless and the service team are are chuckleheads.

Customer Service

Horrible. Incompotent. No follow up. Destroyed my brakes and don't meet comittments. Service employees stand around talking to one another vs. helping customers. One time I stood for 15 minutes while one employee stared at a bike and two others were to busy bs'ing to see if I needed help.

Here's a summary of my experience:
--Before excursion to Helen with friends, took bike in to get bottom bracket and hydraulic brake line replaced
--Bike was supposed to be ready by Thursday and they would call. No call by Thurs afternoon so I called them. Promised it would be ready by Friday morn and they would call. No call. Called Friday morn - not ready. Had to delay leaving and finally got the affirmative it was fixed after bugging them.
--Got on the olympic trail in Helen and piston blows out before the first mile, ending my trip.
--Take bike in and complain that my brakes were fine before these numskulls got ahold of them. They offer to send the brake back and give me a beat up loaner
--Over the course of the next year, I call back several times to get status and was dealing directly with service Manager - Raul. Each time Raul did not know status and promised to call back (which he never did). Finally, over 11 months later, I inquire again. My brake mysteriously appears. Take the bike back in and they promise to have it by Friday but don't get it until Sunday. I'll never go there again.
