I previously wrote a good review of Performance Bike, but recently I have come across nothing but problems with the service. I bought my bike there in November 07, I took it to them twice for tune ups and service, a month later after a service my crank arm stripped out. I came back to them ,not to blame, but to just order a new crank. I tried to order the LX shimano but that was on sale but they said that they didn't have anymore in stock and couldn't order them either because they were waiting for the 08s, I don't see how you can sell a product on the floor and but not have it available, false advertising. Another instance, occurred yesterday, I went to the shop in atl. to get the shimano hone. One MANAGER said that they would sell it to me for a competitors price, so I paid and was told it would be hear by friday, but i called today and they told me that they would not sell me the product for the price, so now I have to drive all the way down to atl. from canton to get a refund. I will not be doing business with this company again.

Customer Service

Horrible. The managers don't even know what the policies and price for what they sell are. They cant even get you the products they sell.

Everything in the store is easy to find, they have a wide variety of tools bikes, and accessories. Everyone that works there is knowledgeable of products and riding. I feel very comfortable going in just to browse or to talk about riding. I have been to other shops around and always feel rushed or that I'm wasting there time. Performance is friendly and just has a good atmosphere.

Customer Service

The customer service is A+ standard. I can go in and talk about parts or different subjects that are brought up.

Great Shop because the sales are great and the guys in the shop are really nice. Heres the thing there are tons of LBS that are way more techy than this one. This shop has a few high school kids working there, were as in other shop I have visited they would never allow such a thing. these guys do a good job. my main goal with my bike shopping was to get the best NEW bike that I could for the least amount of money. Make sure you ask for MATT, James or Tim or Todd

Customer Service

cant beat it for real, other stores hate how good they take care of there customers, they mock performance because they cant touch it!

I really liked what I saw at performance! I got there around 8:30pm, and left with a new bike after 10:00pm. The sales guy was our in the parking lot with me, making sure everything was tuned just right. They have tons of gear, and components, and REALLY AWESOME PRICES!!!!!(MY FAVORITE) The shop is overall a very positive feel.

Customer Service

Nobody can touch the customer service. Other shops, and bike geeks talk bad about these guys. From a consumer standpoint, they are awesome. I was in the shop one time with a guy that bought a bike 1.5 years ago, his rear coil busted. They didnt have one in stock, so they took one off of a bike that was on the floor. The customer rode out of that shop with a huge smile! By the way it was after hours.I am not sure why people buy bikes that are used, and online when these guys already have the best prices, and customer service! They have a 100% customer service satisfaction policy! Buy your bike here!!!! Trust me

I like the store. Didn't buy my bike there, but do buy parts, clothing etc. They stock alot of stuff, and I almost always find what I am looking for. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. I have always been able to get help when I needed it.

Customer Service

Their repair shop is awesome. Main mechanic (Name ??) is great and always willing to offer advice, direction and advice. One repair that I had done there was below estimate and ahead of promised time.

Once they get your email, get ready to read, cause they send a TON of it. At least one per day and sometimes more.

Performance is new to our area (within the last year, 07) and I like their shops. They have a good variety of bikes to choose from, good prices, but not a lot of parts. Service is fairly priced too.

Customer Service

The only gripe I have about Performance is that (like another reviewer said) it's like a Walmart of bikes. The guys who work there on the sales floor don't know jack! And I have had to hunt someone down to get help on several occasions and it's very annoying.

But the guys in the shop are pretty cool and do a decent job of servicing bikes. And their customer service as far as returns and resolving issues is pretty good - like Walmart.

They do price matching and have a red phone that you can order whatever they don't have in stock. They'll even price match on special order stuff with free shipping if you pick it up at the store. So over all, it's a good store that needs to train their employees to be more customer focused or at least hire people who actually ride. If you know what you're looking for, it's a great store for the experienced rider. New people to the sport will enjoy it too - they can at least size you up correctly and offer good customer support after your purchase.

I have visited Dunwoody and Roswell stores and like them.

Customer Service

Superb customer service at both Dunwoody and Roswell stores. I brought a bike from them and later found its size is little too big for me, they let me swap for another bike that I like without any issues. A few days later when I visited the store I saw a 10%Off sign there, I talked to the guy who sold me the bike about the discount and he immediately talked to his manager. The manager just credited 10% of my purchase price back to my credit card without even asking for a receipt. Mechanics at both shops are also friendly and very helpful. Two thumbs up for its customer service!

The best thing this place has going for it is the fact that its a chain store therefore prices are lower than most other shops around town. I purchased tubes, grips, and a few other universal parts there. Dont expect them to have a lot of bling bling high end stuff. I like the Performance brand of clothing and accessories as they seem to be high quality and more than resonably priced. Dont go there looking for technical expertise.

Customer Service

Always get a greeting when I walk in the door. People see friendly but Im not sure if they know that much about bikes.

Convienent if you need basic parts or clothing. Not the place for tech advice.

Great place is you know what you want and they have it in stock. Turn over of employees seems to be constant which means you never really get to talk with anyone that actually rides or knows a lot about bikes. Basicly it's the Wal-Mart of bikes shops.

Customer Service

I have had to wait 10 minutes just to get someone to check me out and I seem to always have to hunt someone down who works there in order to get part or checkout.

Similar Products Used:

They stock mostly low end parts with a few higher end stuff if you look hard enough. Lots of cloths but mostly geared towards roadies.
