Decent selection, decent prices.

Customer Service

Bought a brand new 2011 Trek fuel ex8 in August, a couple of weeks ago I noticed the fork pushing a lot of oil. Took it to Free Flite and they said i might still be under warranty and they will contact Fox. No luck, Fox said it's normal wear and tear (about 6 months of riding, 90 hrs give or take). I gave the shop the go ahead to send the fork off to get repaired and was told a week to ten days. Little did I know they wern't even going to pull the fork for four days and UPS didn't pick it up until the next day after that! Just found out today I might get it back by the 16th and it's gonna cost me over $200. What a joke, if I wanted a bike to ride I'd have to pay to demo or go to a free demo day. Last time I will ever set foot in Free Flite will be to get my bike back.

I contacted Trek and they were no help either, apparently Fox forks are supposed to be serviced every 120 hrs and they do not stand behind their product.

These guys have a great inventory and their prices are much lower than I've seen elsewhere. They generally have what I need; from accessories to tools and parts.

Customer Service

I've always received excellent customer service. All the guys know their stuff and are always willing to help. I buy all my tools there and Dano has always offered great wrench-advice.

Not too bright. After i had them install a fork for me i got it home and the whole front end was loose. I took it back to them and was told i needed a new headset and it was my responsibility for buying that headset. Later i took the bike back and talked to a different mechanic and he looked at it and realized the headset was fine and the previous tech didn't tighten it down properly. I was then later told by this mechanic that i need a smaller cassette to deal with too much chain slack. Yeah forget going back there again.

The guys at free-flite are really helpful. They are not too big on 29ers, but helpful nonetheless.

Customer Service

Pretty good for the most part.

The guys at Free Flight care about what your needs are unlike other local shops in the area. The knowledge they have is far above anything else I have seen locally as well.
I have had these guys work on my mtb in the past and when time to upgrade they steered me in the right direction.
I would highly recommend this shop and I will buy only from Free Flight in the future.

Customer Service

Excellent, and very helpful.

This is the best shop in town, hands down. I have grown up utilizing this shop as my go-to for all things bike related. I remember going here with my dad in the late 80s to buy my GT Mach One BMW bike. Fast forward almost 20 years and now I have turned to them for my carbon road bike and my soon-to-arrive Trek Fuel full squish. Throughout their history, the advise and knowledge of those in the Free Flite organization has always been top notch.

Customer Service

The customer service of this shop is what sets them apart from the others. While I have dealt with a number of people over the years, lately Travis has been helping me spend all of my money. He is very well versed in both the road and mountain toys and never seems to push. Actually, he even pointed me towards another shop that had some comparable units that I wanted to test ride. I always feel at home in the relaxed environment and I never seem to get the high pressure push to buy something that I might regret.

I have not used their techs in a few years (luckily) but remember them to have always been very skilled and helpful in troubleshooting my bikes.

The best shop(s) in metro Atl. They can can get stuff before anybody else. They have the lowest prices in town. They are a no bs shop.

Customer Service

Excelent. These guy's ride. They know how to turn a wrench. They love the sport of cycling. They are not bicycle snob's, there are a lot of 'em out there who act like they are to cool to help out someone with little or less experience.

I am 34, i started racing bmx in the 80's bought my first real bike from Free Flite. It was a Redline RL20 II b. I raced it to death. Free Flite has been my lbs since then. I have bought probably 10 bikes for myself and my family over the years. They have always stayed cool and grounded, even after the other locations opened and the money rolled in. They will sell you what you need not what makes them the most money. I hate to say it but some other stores in the metro areas are all about the $$$ and will try to up-sell you to death. If you want a bike you can go anywhere. If you want a local bike shop that will take care of you, your bike and mostly likely remember your name. Go to Free Flite. Hands Down.

built my bike from the ground up in 4 hrs. BEWARE, they will hit you up with "Deluxe Tuneup" maintenance fees which are free at Atlanta Cycling. They also charge labor which is also free at
Atlanta Cycling (as long as you buy the parts from them)

Customer Service

Great. They listen to what you want and make suggestions based on what theyve heard - cant say the same for Atlanta Cycling
