Similar Products Used: I recently purchased my new Trek Madone from Ramon at Atlanta Cycling Ansley. Ramon has a knack of building a relationship during the sales process. He consistently asked about my family and built a level of trust that I feel helped make my decision to go with the bike I did. I did not experience this level of engagement at any of several other local bike shops I visited over the last several weeks.

The other notable characteristic about this shop is how Ramon, Brian, Nathan, the service crew and others all work so well together. Kudos to leadership for building a great team.

I will continue to patronize Atlanta Cycling and recommend them at any opportunity.

Cheers,
Chad

Think High End here. I would say they carry the most luxurious bicycles in town. A place for hardcore road bikers.

Customer Service

They are snobby, but they don't know it. LOL. If you can get passed the pretentious attitude and atmosphere you will find very serious and dedicated cyclists working here. Yes they want to make sales, that is the effort. Expect strait answers to your inquiries. Yes, they sometimes have a pretty smile upfront at the cash register that doesn't know much about cycling, but 'who really cares'. Approach this shop with a sense of professional expectations. If you press your salesman 'a little bit', they will go way beyond the call of duty. Over the years I have bought three bikes from these guys/gals. It's not prices like out west, it's much more. It's not an amazon showroom. This is a place where you go to buy, not really 'looki loo' friendly. I think the heart and soul of this place is road bikes and an affluent customer base.

I have learned to fix my own bikes. I buy pieces on the internet for what I need now. I only go here if I want an occasional 'dry' professional opinion about a cycling matter.

I got into riding because of my husbands interest in riding. We shopped a couple of places, and I found that my best experience was at Atlanta Cycling. The bikes were readily available to test ride, and they treated me like I was the only person in the place... it was extremely packed on a Saturday.

Customer Service

My salesman was a guy named Patrick, and he was great. I asked tons of questions, and he answered all of them. He was very patient to my needs, and was very helpful during the whole process. I ended up buying a Scott Scale 30, and I just love it.... had to have a hardtail!!!!

I thoroughly recommend Atlanta Cycling on Piedmont. It seems that everybody there really cares.
P.S.- free tune-ups, and a 30-day return policy influenced my decision also.

Thanks Guys.... We will be back.

I found this shop 3 years ago via a google search, and since then have bought several bikes from them, and always been very happy with the products I was sold and the service I received. Their selection is awesome, inventory is mind-boggling.

Customer Service

When I was first looking for a mountain bike, they seemed really good at asking the right questions to find the right bike for me in my price range. When I've taken it in for a tune up, it's usually taken only a day or two to get it back. Occasionally something wasn't perfect, but they've always handled it quickly and professionally, which is not the same as I've experienced with other shops. I will NEVER buy a bike from another shop.

There was one instance where I bought something that didn't work out for me, and they were very fair about taking it back, so THANKS GUYS!

The shop does have their products, but employees do not seem to know their ass from their elbows, their goal is to sell you products that they themselves don't know at all, they don't even know any level of graded steel or the difference between aluminum or carbon or steel, one guy had to try to fake me by telling me it does not make a difference of material of the bike, it's the rider, if you're light you'll ne fast, if you're fat, you're slow......great service of knowledge.

Customer Service

Bought a coneection link for a single speed chain and the girl gave me a connections that didn't even fit, she told me they were standard for single speed BMC chain..for $5.00 a link and 12 mi. to drive back for a refund..I just said..forget it.. I'll buy another chain from another shop or from ebay instead.

when asked a sales rep about the difference bet. a trek full suspension he answered "so what kind of game are we playing here ?" so sarcasm I do not need.

High end bike shop chain with several locations throughout the Atlanta Area

Customer Service

When I bought my bicycle there around 2000, they offered a lifetime of free adjustments. This was one of the selling points for me. I was dissapointed, however, when every time I took it in for these adjustments, the bike would come back shifting just as poorly as it did when I dropped it off. I just figured that is how the bike was supposed to shift. Now that I am a bike mechanic myself, I realize how poor the repair jobs were.

Good shop with helpful people. Allowed me to exchange a saddle that was uncomfortable to me even though it had a little nick in it.

Also, didn't charge me for a handful of spoke nipples. Not nickle and diming a customer to death is a great way to keep a customer.
