Great Shop, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Has everything you could need for everyday riding. Lacking in the high end mountain bikes, but they where able to fulfill my needs after riding a lower end model. Everyone remembers you and wants to help. Bottom line, go there!

Customer Service

Techs are great and always set me up to go. Sales people are friendly and prompt. If you need a mountain bike take to service. Road bikes and fits are the sales specialty.

I have purchased multiple bikes after buying an "inexpensive" carbon road bike for my wife. They helped with out the pretentious air found in other shops and included a professional fit. After a year or so I returned to purchase a road bike and walked out (after a few weeks of fitting and discussion) with a full custom Independent Fabrication steel bike. Finally, I purchased my pride and joy, a Trek Remedy, this Spring.

The shop was fine, I have no problems with the layout or any of that. I do however have a problem with leaving the shop with a bent rim, yes...I am serious! I had new tires put on my cruiser, along with the rim strip/liner and asked if they could just make sure everything was up to par. I wanted done professionally, apparently they fell short of that. I live in Cap hill and was suggested that I go to Campus Cycles. Looks like I'll continue going to the better shop. Turin!

Roadie shop with extremely crappy customer service.

Customer Service

All I came here to do was ask to purchase some brake pads and ask for a bike box (was willing to pay). Waited 15 minutes for someone before walking out. The shop guy saw me and turned around to hide in the back.

I guess they really did not want my money. Guess they smelled that I wasn't an anal roadie.

Would not recommend unless you are an anal roadie.

Not all that impressed with the selection. They try to offer a little too much to too many riders. Focus on a group and excell for that group.

Customer Service

Not very good. I brought in a cross country bike to get tuned up. The cost was very high (around $100) and when I got the bike back, nothing seemed to have been done. They did not even pull and replace the cables that were stretched all out of whack. Also tried to buy tubes from the shop. First they thought I wanted tires, then they got the size wrong after I told them which one I needed. And finally it took 15 minutes to have the guy run my card. He had glasses thicker than most windshields on and didn't seem to know how to use a credit card machine. Wound up with 3 authorizations for the 1 transaction on my card.

Most of the staff is into road biking and either doesn't know or doesn't care to know anything about mountain bikes. Go up the street to the other shop if you want a mountain bike of down to Mojo wheels off of Hampden.

Shop seemed to have plenty of business though I can not figure out why. I went there twice. The first time looking for tubes and the tech trying to help me started pulling down tires and I explained again what I wanted. Then he grabbed the wrong size after I told him what I wanted. Should not have gone back after that.

The first time looking for tubes and the tech trying to help me started pulling down tires and I explained again what I wanted. Then he grabbed the wrong size after I told him what I wanted. As if that was not bad enough the guy running my card at the end had no idea what he was doing. It took me 15 minutes to pay for the tubes and he authorized my card 3 separate times during the transaction.
Should not have gone back after that. Second time in was to get my wife's bike a professional tune up. They charged a fortune (around $100) and did not even change the cables. The bike performed the same after the tune up as before. I wound up taking it elsewhere to have the tune up redone for less.

Maybe worth a visit if you are into road biking as all of there staff seems to be. If you mountain bike then don't waste your time or your money there.

I've only been in here once, but these guys are the most informed and least pushiest group I've seen in a while. They also understand the idea of "looking and browsing" and give you strait answers.

This is were to go when you want good advice, great bike, friendly faces and everyone knows your name. Christ I sound like "Cheers".

Customer Service

I first came in here a couple of weeks after I purchased my Cannondale 29er. I knew they did not stock Cannondale but I had to kill time why I awaited a Dr. appointment. I was helped instantly when I walked in and they (everyone) was so helpful and friendly. I purchased a new tube and some tools and placed an order for a frame bag. They talked to me about my bike, why I ride it and what I was going to the Dr for (knee surgery as it turns out). When my bag came in my wife went to pick it up and they treated her as if they knew her. They asked her how I was doing with my knee and made her feel right at home. I guess what I am trying to say, a shop like this is so hard to find. They all love what they do and do it so well. Even though they do not cary Cannondale, they have my business for life. KYLE, YOU ROCK!!!

Shop seems crammed with bikes and when you first approach from the street, you see a old school french big wheel bike. Its pretty cool. They have alot of bikes and I looked at many shops for a specific model and no one had it but these guys and they had one of every size. Really, really good selection and everyone that I spoke to was a rider and really understood and cared what I wanted and how they could help me get it.

Customer Service

Awesome. When I first walked in I felt ignored and then within about 5 minutes I was approached and helped. Ned I believe was the guys name, he listened and gave suggestions, and was very helpful. (I was looking for a f/s for my girlfriend). I went back with her and same thing, was helped after 5 minutes. This time by another guy (Michael), very nice, more of a roadie then a mountain, but seemed to know his stuff. He even set the bike up and let my girlfriend ride it to a park near by. The third time we went we were helped by Kyle. My girlfriend explained she felt to far forward and he took the bike we were looking at and swapped the stem and set the air pressure up for her weight and sized her as well as explained some things (very helpful). He let her ride it to the park again and offered me a bike to join her so I could critize as I love to do. I waited about 2 or 3 weeks and went back in and everyone there remembered my name (which I didn't make known) Kyle remembered everything and I told him I wanted to buy the bike for her, and in about 15 minutes he had it set exactly how she wanted it. (She wasn't there, because this was to be her engagement gift)This shop is awesome.

I went to many shops looking for a bike for my girlfriend and many would ignore her if she was with me and only talk to me, or talk down to either of us. Most didn't have the selection campus does and if they did, they didn't know what they were talking about. This shop didn't look that great from the outside, but after visiting it I have really grown to like them, service, pricing, and knowledge make this a superb shop to visit and buy from.
