I haven't had any super technicial work done on my bike yet. What the offer is fast, quality work without trying to rip you off. They only fix what you need and don't pile on additional charges that are unnecessary. Customer Service The techs working at the shop are super friendly and will fix your bike while you wait if it's an easy fix. I've been very satisfied with the techs and their honest attitude. Similar Products Used: A friend had a problem fixed here that a more exclusive shop could not find. He now uses BV for all of his work too. |

Everyone says Bicycle Village is the Walmart of bike shops. I disagree. I used to work at a small shop, and we couldn't come close to matching the level of personal service that BV gives. I'm a regular at BV - I walk in, and almost everyone there knows me, asks me about my bike, my riding, and everything else. Ryan and Keaton are pretty good guys, good riders, good mechanics. Keaton built my wheels, which are beyond sweet. Shelby is hot. Ran into another hot girl recently that used to work there, Emily. Miss her. Customer Service They hook me up. Not like free stuff, but they take care of me. That kind of stuff keeps me coming back, even if they weren't cool people! Similar Products Used: Go there. |

this shop used to be horrible, but in the last 1.5 years they made some staff changes and now it's a great place to go. most people frown on these corporate type shops, and normally so do i. i would love to support my "local" shop, and do when i can, but (especially in these $$$$$$ times) where else can you get a great price for close out prices? Customer Service everyone is awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. i like when keaton works on my bikes, ryan and keaton help me with my dh questions, and when shelby busts my chops about anything she feels inclined to. wish erin would come back. |

appeals to a broad crowd...had lots of variety (triathalon gear). Customer Service Been there a couple of times and haven't been impressed. Selection, although better than some other shops in town, is not all that good.

From my experiences with this shop I would agree with previous reviews. Do your research prior to shopping at this store. I would not seek technical information or fit advice from the employees. Other than that it is a good place to try and find deals not offered by other LBS in Colorado Springs. The Big Box situation. Customer Service Employees are friendly but not always knowledgeable. |

Colorado Chain where they are the "big store on the block" so the Walmart Version of a bike shop. Lower prices crappy service. Customer Service Went shopping for a mtn bike for my wife and it took almost 15 min to fill out the paper work and then they couldn't unlock the bike to let her try it. After waithing 10 more min to get it unlocked we gave up and left.
Similar Products Used: For a "big box" store I've never been impressed with their prices on anything but bikes, all accessories, clothes, parts are MSRP and pretty limited. |

Really nice shop and close to home. I only have to go a few blocks to get there. Customer Service Customer service is horrible. They are not very good when it comes to bike knowledge. I went to this shop after a tour in Iraq (had huge amounts of cash saved) and requested the most exspensive freeride bike that Specialized made. I knew they would not have it on the floor and it would be hard to get but thought they would work with me. I never enen got a call back and had to research an all new brand and go to another shop. |

Good selection and good prices but the shop seems to hire anyone and has a high turnover rate. Customer Service Very little customer service at all, the staff usually doesn't know or doesn't care. Similar Products Used: I'd only buy a bike there due to the prices I'd never get one serviced from them. If you're buying a bike from them know what you want in a bike before coming in there, don't let the staff fit you for a bike. |

Big, mart-store-like chain, seemed impersonal. Customer Service Poor, unknowledgeable staff that didn't want to be bothered. Similar Products Used: Being a bike geek, I have visited a bicycle village stores in Boulder, Denver and the Springs and they simply do not have the knowledge, custom service, parts or style I'm looking for. They do seem to have 8000 low-end bikes, if your in that market. Very weak overall shops. |
