Bright and clean. Lots of accessories. Customer Service I bought a high-end Specialized hard tail there. I have only been there once because I am up in NW Phoenix, now.

This shop mainly carries entry to mid level XC/light trail bikes as far as the MTB selection goes. Customer Service Head mechanic at the shop on Shannon and Ina is the most unfriendly person I've met at any bike shop, ever. Similar Products Used: Had a bike built and the only words the mechanic said to me was something like, "Here you go" when he was handing me my invoice. After one ride my headset started creaking like mad.

Located at Swan and Sunrise stocking some entry level to higher end bicycles. My favorite being Mountain, there always seems to be a nice selection of bikes. Store is clean, stocked pretty decent but could use some more small eye candy (i.e., skewers, seat clamps, seat selections, grips, more tires for 29'er, etc.). Customer Service I have always been greeted promptly and taken care of when I needed something. If I have a question or something technical to ask about, I get a good answer. Overall, very happy with the level of service, selection of goods and experience. Adan always does a great job working on my bike(s) when I need to bring them in and Cory, the Manager takes great care of me. That's why I am a repeat Customer and drive a lot further to get my goodies. |

Clueless--went in to ask about Power grips, which have been around since 1996 and are even carried by Performance bikes. The kid working there told me he had never heard of such a thing; and what was worse, was his attitude--he assumed that I was an idiot, and was visibly annoyed that I was apparently asking for something that does not exist.
Customer Service bad attitude; they suck; see above |

Oro Valley Bicycle on N. Oracle Road rocks as a bike shop. We come down from Wisconsin to ride in the desert for 2 months every year and have found these folks to be friendly, knowledgeable, fast, efficient and fair-priced. We wait to have our repairs done here instead of back home. Great shop, great people, great service, and great gear! |

The shop itself is a typical bike shop stocked with low to upper mid-range quality bikes, and has a clean and professional business appearance. Customer Service Customer service is awful, I don't know how else to describe it. I brought my vintage Colnago in there for a simple shifter repair. No phone calls were made until a couple weeks later when I called them. I had to call them, they would not call me. Similar Products Used: I wrote a letter to the store owner describing what had happened. I backed it up with pictures that clearly illustrated the damage that was done. The response was a he-said she-said phone conversation despite documented proof of what the mechanic did. The owner offered to touch up the paint saying he was taking full responsibility for what had happened. |

I go to both the Ina/Shannon store and the Oracle Rd stores and they're both great - I'm fairly new in cycling and they seem to have a good range of parts and bikes - from low-end to mid/higher-end. I've been very pleased by the selection of the stores given their relatively small size. Customer Service The customer service is top-notch. Every time I've had a problem with the bike I bought from them, they've worked quickly and efficiently to fix whatever was wrong. They're always willing to explain and educate customers on ins and outs of various bikes or components. Similar Products Used: I could buy many components much cheaper from online bicycle shops, but I pay a little bit more to buy from OV bikes so that they stay in business, because I really appreciate the level of customer service I receive and I'm willing to pay for it! |
