Shop is a little cramped space-wise but really friendly staff. They focus mainly on Kona and Devinci (from what I noticed) but also have some other brands of mtbike from time to time (also carry road, bmx, uni, hybrid etc). They have used bikes as well and are the only shop in town I know of that does Dutch auctions. They also have prior season and older bikes (new old stock) at good prices.

All new bikes include 3 free tune-ups to help it settle in. They also offer lifetime tuneups on a new bike purchase for $100 and flat protection for $20.

Customer Service

In my experience, great. I went in to purchase two bikes and they were happy to have me take my time and find something for myself and wife that would work. They tend to only have one size in each bike on floor at a time (due to the shop size) but were more than happy to set one up quickly in one I was interested in (which they did twice for my wife in attempts to find something that fit and was a suitable bike for the type of riding).

They offered the lifetime tune-ups which I turned down, and they didn't push the issue at all which was great (I figure I'll get upgrade-citis and will want a newer bike in a year or so anyhow).

Purchased a bike rack from them as well and again they were super helpful. They use the particular rack I got in store as a display stand, so they were quite knowledgeable about it. Like to see a shop that uses what they sell.

My one tune-up so far went great and made a noticeable improvement in performance. They did same day turn around (since I dropped it off early), which was nice considering how busy it gets this time of year.

I went to this shop to buy new bikes due to a good experience as a kid in the 90s and due to good prices on NOS bikes. I used to frequent Russ Hays (which was great last time I got service years ago, and super friendly checking out what they had in stock recently), but I think I'll stick with GS for the time being. A little out of the way for me (not in my area of town), but they give good customer service (which isn't the case for all shops in town).
